Mamta believes that multiculturalism in Australia is a consequence of the shared history of its people – Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander and all others with global heritage who have come to call Australia home. So, her goal is to help create a golden thread that connects members of diverse backgrounds with each other and also with opportunities in the local community. Her vision is to build United in Diversity as a community group that embraces organisational and cultural values, with a clear focus on connection and sustainability.

Mamta is passionate about bringing people together through rapport building and culturally appropriate communication.
Her work has a strong focus on assets based community development. Mamta knows everyone has gifts, skills and passions which can contribute to building relationships within a community.
