Migrants need support to enter the Australian workforce and contribute fully to the community they have come to live in. To work in regional towns even better settlement services are required for newly arrived as well as those moving from within Australia. United in Diversity is running a comprehensive Regional Migrant Employment Program Pilot in the town of Morawa. The program facilitates migrants of all skill levels and English Language ability to be matched to a suitable job and also connects them to the local community through a diversity inclusion program. The pilot which started in 2022 is now in the consolidation phase with funding from Mid-West Development Commission.
